Father Barry joined us at school for an Ash Wednesday liturgy. The children sang John Burland's "These Ashes we receive reminding us .." beautifully as the children received their ashes. The school pupil chaplains read the daily readings and also wrote and shared their own post Ashes prayers. 

In class, the children reflected on the importance of Ash Wednesday and recorded their thoughts and Lenten Promises in their RE or class Worship books.
