Communication and Language Development - Offer explanations for why things might happen, making use of recently introduced vocabulary from stories, non-fiction, rhymes and poems.
Personal, Social and Emotional Development - Explain the reasons for rules, know right from wrong and try to behave.
Physical Development- PE with Edstart. Begin to show accuracy and care when drawing.
Mathematics - Record using marks, weight, length and capacity, patterns, money and 2D and 3D shape.
Literacy - Spell words by identifying sounds in them and representing the sounds with a letter or letters.
Understanding the World - Talk about the lives of the people around them and their roles in society.
Expressive Art and Design - Create art in different ways on a theme, to express their ideas and feelings.
Talk4Writing - Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Instructions (How to make porridge/a kite) and a recount (Beach trip)
RE- Universal Church – what makes our world so wonderful? and other religions.
PSHE- Created to live in the community and living in the wider world.
TRIPS- Sponsored litter pick and St Anne's Beach.
Maths, recognising and creating patterns and sharing equally!
P.S.H.E, we designed posters about picking up litter and caring for our common home.
Beach Trip, we built sandcastles, flew kites, twirled ribbon sticks, went on a beach scavenger hunt and searched the rockpools.
Worship, we like to use our school church and take part in Worship in our classroom.
Expressive Arts, we looked at sea transport and used resources to build our own.
