St. Antony's school council meets every week to ensure that our pupil voice is heard. We try to think of ideas to improve our school and make St. Antony's a happier place for everyone.
A big 'Thank You' to everybody who contributed ideas for our Class Dojo rewards. Our new Class Dojo board is on display in the corridor - soon you'll be able to trade the Dojos you earn in class for treats and time spent doing things you love!
Our School Councillors are:
Great news! The teachers talked about our request for class pets at their staff meeting and they decided that we can! We've sent a letter home to parents just to check that no one is allergic but Mrs McGowan said that if parents agree then she will set a budget for each class to choose a pet, get it a home and food and then it's up to us to be responsible and caring owners!
You asked - we listened!
Do you have any ideas or points that you want the school council to discuss?
If you're too shy to talk to us, why not use our interactive display board outside the library. We love to hear your ideas. Lots of people are asking about class pets so we're just researching that it's safe for allergy sufferers before we get back to you...
Last term, we asked you for your ideas about playtime games and equipment you would like have to improve playtimes.
We hope you like the choices we made and if you have any more ideas let us know.
You told us you didn't like the smelly old downstairs toilets so Mrs McGowan had them replaced over the summer for our beautiful new unisex bathroom! We hope you like them!
Pupil Voice really matters!
